About Nayagarh
Nayagarh is a town and a municipality in Nayagarh district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the headquarters of Nayagarh district.Nayagarh is located at WikiMiniAtlas20.13°N 85.1°E. It has an average elevation of 178 metres (583 feet). This town has Rukhi mountain to the south and Balaram mountain to the north. These mountains mitigated the effects of the 1999 Odisha cyclone on Nayagarh. New Jagannath Sadak connects Nayagarh with the holy city of Puri district. The total area of Nayagarh district is about 3,890 km2. There are a total of about 1700 villages in Nayagarh district.
