Kyathanpally is a census town in Mancherial district of the Indian state of Telangana. As of 2001 India census, Kyathanpally had a population of 42,275. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Kyathanpally has an average literacy rate of 59%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 51%. In Kyathampalle, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age. The town covers an area of 6.50 km2 (2.51 sq mi). The town is located on Broad-Gauge railway line of Delhi to Hyderabad with a railway station situated at Ramakrishnapur. The town is also situated on Hyderabad – Chanda State high way road with a distance of 294 Kms from the State Head Quarter (Hyderabad) and 7 Kms from the District Head Quarter(Mancherial).
