Jaitaran is also known for its founder Jaita Gurjari founder of Jaitaran for the great battle of Samel between Sher Shah Suri and Rao Maldeo Rathore and his contribution. Jaitaran is renowned as a beautiful place for tourism, with places like Kudki (birthplace of Meera), Bhaval temple known for goddess Bhaval whose idol take two and half peg of whisky. This place is also known for Marudhar Kesari Pawan Dham (social activities for eye camp and free medical/health camp), the famous temple of Gayatri Parivar trust - in this temple almost gods situate. It is also known for all in one god's temple. As of 2011 India census,[1] Jaitaran had a population of 22,639. Males constitute 51% (11,564) of the population and females 49% (11,074). Jaitaran has an average literacy rate of 65.15%, lower than the national average of 74.04%: male literacy is 75.2%, and female literacy is 54.7%. In Jaitaran, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
