About Budhana
Budhana is a town, block, tehsil, Nagar Panchayat, and one of the constituencies of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarnagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.The local economy is primarily based on agriculture. Budhana lies in the Upper Doab region, a fertile area close to the Upper Ganges Canal. Wheat, sugarcane, and mustard are the main crops grown here. People from the surrounding villages come to Budhana for their buying and selling needs.Budhana is listed in the Ain-i-Akbari as a pargana under the sarkar of Saharanpur, producing a revenue of 3,698,041 dams for the imperial treasury and supplying a force of 300 infantry and 40 cavalry.
