About Baramati
Baramati is a city and a municipal council in Pune district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is also the home town of famous marathi Poet Kavi Moropant. Baramati and surrounding areas mostly depend on agriculture as the main source of income. The land in the region is very well irrigated because of Nira Left Canal irrigation from Veer Dam. Nira River and Karha River also provide direct irrigation water to farms.
