When is Ugadi?
The festival of Ugadi is celebrated on the first day of the Hindu month Chaitra that is observed between March to April of the Gregorian calendar. This is one of the most famous Hindu festivals that marks the beginning of a new year. The festival is mostly celebrated in the southern region of India. Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh are the regions that are the most enthusiastic about it. This also marks the advent of spring which is symbolic of breathing life into nature.
